Another weekend trip to RSPB Fairburn Ings. All but a small part of the site is now open to the public again following the Christmas floods.
We spent an hour sat up at Pick Up Hide and enjoyed good views of Bullfinch, Dunnock, Grey Squirrel, Robin, Great Tit and Weasel (too quick to get a snap of!).
We then moved down to the feeding area and were greeted by 20-30 Black-Headed Gulls, 6 Tufted Ducks, several Mallards and a lone Mute Swan.
The RSPB are gearing up for their annual Big Garden Birdwatch – Over the weekend of 30-31 January, 2016. Why not request a FREE pack or simply register your details.
